Wayne Gill
Senior Associate Instructor

Coach Gill was an Associate Instructor with HLB since 2003 and was promoted to Senior Associate Instructor in Fall of 2007. He has become one of the best shooting coaches in the region, but is also known as an outstanding ballhandling and individual offense instructor. Additionally, Coach Gill has coached in the HLB Team Program for 4 years. He serves as Recreation Assistant for Metro Parks.

Career highlights include:

2003 – present:

Senior Associate Instructor (Fall 2007); Associate Instructor Team Head Coach – Boy’s 14U, Boy’s 13U, Boy’s 11U; High School Boy’s Assistant

2000 – present:

Recreation Assistant, Sylvania Community Center, Metro Parks

1997 – 1999:

Played College basketball at Rainy River College in International Falls, Minnesota - set records, which still stand, for assists and steals both in a game and for an individual career.

1995 – 1997:Played at Atherton High School where he helped the Rebels to two district basketball titles

Coach Gill is a PDS (Professional Development Series) certified member of the NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches)
